Myself, along with 20 others, were fortunate to have been selected to attend the 2024 American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference (ICC) in New Orleans, Louisiana, fully funded by SDSU. The conference spanned three eventful days, offering students invaluable opportunities such as keynote speeches from top corporations like Google and Amazon, leadership training, professional development workshops, outstanding collegiate chapter presentations, and various competitions including sales, marketing strategy, marketing simulation, and perfect pitch. We also engaged in networking sessions with student and national chapters, and a special career fair featuring companies like Google and Mattel. Additionally, SDSU AMA had the privilege of mingling with National AMA CEO Bennie Johnson, who joined us for the locally famous beignets breakfast.
We are proud to announce that after a year of hard work, SDSU AMA was recognized and awarded as one of the Top 25 Chapters out of over 320 nationally. This acknowledgment highlights our significant achievements, and we are committed to reaching even greater heights in the future.
